Powered by a GM Performance LS1 Crate Engine
1957 was a great year in America and it’s history. Elvis Presley performed his last appearance on the Ed Sullivan Show, the first electric watch was introduced and GM was producing the greatest cars ever designed. This 1957 Pickup is no exception. D&P was asked by the owner to build a truck that could handle like a modern vehicle and was dependable enough to drive everyday.
The solution was simple, build a LS powered Chevy pickup with an upgraded suspension and powertrain Over the course of the build D&P transformed this customer’s old truck into a dependable, great handling, street machine. This truck has been driven from coast to coast multiple times, including several drives down historic Route 66.
